Bengaluru: Pramod Mutalik, head of Sri Rama Sene clarified “Media is spreading rumours that Sri Rama Sene (SRS) is associated with the murder of Gauri Lankesh. But, our association has no connection with the murder of Gauri,”

He was talking at a program on ‘Uncovering anti-Hindu conspiracy by Leftists’ composed by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Ramamadira sanctuary in Rajajinagar in the city on Sunday, June 17.

He lashed out at the critics of Prime Minister Modi and said that the latter can’t be blamed  for each occurrence that happens in the state. “Two murders occurred in Karnataka and two in Maharashtra during the congress government. Nobody addressed Congress government failure. Rather, they are inquiring as to why is PM Modi quiet and not talking on Gauri Lankesh’s murder. Is Modi responsible even if a dog dies in Karnataka?” he said.

The dubious explanation welcomed fire from different quarters. Muthalik at that point tried to clarify, saying that he didn’t compare Gauri’s death with a dog. “I asked
how Modi was in charge of each occurrence that happens in Karnataka,” he said.

Talking at the program further, he stated, “Media, to build their TRP, is spreading rumours that there is a connection between the murder of Gauri Lankesh and Sri Rama Sene. However, Anucheth, head of SIT, which is examining the case of Gauri has not given any statement saying that the Hindu associations are engaged with this murder.

“I will state that C M Ibrahim, who has informed that Pramod Mutalik is the head office as for the Gauri murder case, is an ISI agent. He must be questioned first. If C M Ibrahim rambles, I will file a defamation against him,” Muthalik said.

“SIT authorities have arrested Abhi and Giri and have released them after leading enquiry. I have confidence in the police department. However, Congress party is deluding the police authorities. Police said that Naveen had bullets with him, when he was arrested. At the point when the police led enquiry of the people who provided bullets to Naveen, he had agreed not once but thrice, that he has for sure provided bullets to Naveen. Indeed, even after this admission, why the provider of bullets not arrested?” he doubted.
