Fruits form an important part of our daily diet considering the nutritional benefits associated with them. However, while consuming fruits will help keep us healthy, is there any right time to eat them.
Often people wonder about the best time to eat fruit to maximize their benefits. While infact there is no specific time to have a fruit do keep the following in mind while choosing your fruit diet.
Fruits for breakfast
Starting your day with a glass of warm water and a bowl of fruit for breakfast is a great idea but do make sure that you divide your meal accordingly to avoid over exceeding your sugar and calorie intake.
Healthy alternative to satiate hunger pangs
We often end up snacking between breakfast and lunch to satiate those hunger pangs. Snacking on citrus could be a great idea.
Skip the dessert
Well who does not crave for something sweet after meals? Munching on fruits such as mangoes, pineapple are a better and healthy option compared to indulging in a pie.
The pre and post-workout fruit
Banana makes for a great pre-workout fruit giving you the energy boost you need to go the extra mile, an orange or an apple post-workout is just the low-calorie fruit you are looking for, to keep you full while you get your dinner ready.
A no-fruit-night is a good night
Consuming fruits before bedtime is definitely a NO-NO since it hinders your sleep schedule owing to the spike in energy it brings to your body.
