Ishwaramangala: Government bus tips and falls on roof of house

Ishwaramangala: A government bus coming to the town here from Puttur fell on the roof of a house at Santya on Wednesday, June 10.

The bus driver and the conductor were injured in the incident whereas the passengers on the bus were unscarred.

The bus lost control at a turning near Santya, tipped over and fell on the house about 20 feet below.

Fortunately, nobody was at the house when the bus fell over it.

An operation to lift out the bus using mechanized cranes will be conducted.
