IT Dept Asks Minister DK Shivakumar, Others to Appear for Further Interrogation

Bengaluru: According to the sources, income tax (IT) department has served summons to Karnataka state Energy Minister, Congress leader DK Shivakumar on Sunday. The IT department has asked the minister, his father in law, Thimmaiah, sister Padma, close associate; Bengaluru based Astrologer Dwarakanath and business man Sachin Narayanan to appear for an interrogation.

The summonses have been served in the wake three day long IT raid at the residences, offices of the minister, his close associates and relatives which concluded on Saturday morning in various parts of Karnataka. The IT officials have given 18 hours to respondents to register  their  statements.
