IT Dept Serves Notice to Karnataka Energy Minister, Family Members to Appear for Interrogation

Bengaluru: Income tax (IT) department has served notice to Karnataka Energy Minister DK Shiva Kumar and his members of family to face an interrogation inconnection with recent IT raid on the residences, offices of the minister.

This is the seventh time the minister is appearing for an interrogation on November 6 here in the state capital. DK Shiva Kumar, his wife, children, mother and brother DK Suresh are expected to be questioned by IT officers in Bengaluru.

According to the notices served, the minister should not be accompanied by his auditor during the interrogation.  Speaking on the notice served, the minister said he and his members of family will appear for questioning as notice served by the IT department.
