IT sleuths raids hotel where HDK stayed

Bengaluru: The Income Tax Department sleuths on Monday, May 13 evening raided a hotel in which Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy was staying in Hubballi.

It is gathered that at 9:30 PM, as many as eight IT sleuths from the investigation wing of the I-T Department went into the hotel where Kumaraswamy, Ministers D K Shivakumar, Zameer Ahmed Khan and others were staying and searched the rooms.

The I-T teams from Belagavi and Goa jointly conducted the raids at the hotels on Gokul Road. The sleuths checked the hotel for documents and papers, informed the sources.

However, the details about recovery were not made public.
