Bengaluru: BJP State President and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel took potshots at Congress’ “Bharat Jodo Yatra”.
Addressing the gathering on Friday, October 7 at the BJP Karnataka Executive Meeting he said, taunting the Congress party, he said, “Congress is the one which divided the country Lingayata and Veer Shaiva in Karnataka. It also divided Lingayata and Veer Shaiva in Karnataka. Ironically, it is holding a march throughout the country under the title, ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. They will not succeed. Italy’s sister is looking for an escape route from India”.
“Congress’ achievement in sex-decade regime is terrorism and corruption. Except for former prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, the rest of PMs from the Congress party are corrupt”, he added lambasting the Indian National Congress (INC).
Criticizing former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah and other leaders, Nalin said, “People have not forgotten the series of corruption during the Congress regime under Siddaramaiah. Just wait and watch where Siddaramaiah will end up in relation to the Arkavathy Layout redo scam. Most of the Congress leaders are out on bail in one or the other corruption case”.
Meanwhile, he said that the BJP government (both in the Centre and state) is getting positive responses from the people.
