J R Lobo is not casteist: Janardhana Poojary

Mangaluru: Senior Congress leader and former union minister B Janardhana Poojary confidently stated that Congress will win all the eight assembly constituencies in the district. He was Addressing the press meet held at the party’s election office at Kadri on Wednesday, May 9.

Poojary put an end to all the false allegations against MLA and Congress Mangaluru South candidate J R Lobo.

“He is not casteist, and neither is Congress restricted to any caste or religion. Congress respects people of all religions and so does J R Lobo. It is not proper to project him as someone against Bunts and Billawas,” Poojary said.

“False propaganda against a secular person like him is condemnable, we should ensure his win by a big margin,” he added.

MLA and Congress candidate JR Lobo, DCC Chief Harish Kumar, KPCC General Secretary and District in- charge U B Venkatesh, Mayor Bhasker Moily, MUDA Chairman Suresh Ballal, former mayor Shashidhar Hegde and others were present at the meet.
