Hyderabad: Director Prasanth Varma, who made waves with the Telugu hit Hanu-Man, has now released the first look poster of his upcoming sequel, Jai Hanuman. This time, the Kannada star and National Award winner Rishab Shetty will don the mantle of Hanuman, adding to the anticipation surrounding this project.

Earlier this year, Hanu-Man took Tollywood by storm, with Teja Sajja in the lead role. The movie not only made headlines for its unique storyline, acting, and stunning VFX but also raked in collections exceeding Rs 100 crore. Following this massive success, Varma promptly announced a sequel, now titled Jai Hanuman.

In a unique gesture, the director shared a photo from a ceremonial script reading held in front of a Hanuman idol on the day of Lord Ram’s idol installation, heightening excitement for the upcoming venture.

The new sequel will spotlight Rishab Shetty as Hanuman, a casting choice that’s causing quite a buzz on social media. The recently unveiled first look poster shows Shetty as Hanuman, holding an idol of Ram in his hand.

Sharing the firstlook poster on X, Rishab wrote: “A vow from the Tretayuga, bound to be fulfilled in the Kaliyuga. We bring forth an epic of loyalty, courage and devotion. Extremely happy to collaborate with Director @prasanthvarma and Producers @mythriofficial”

Fans and movie buffs are already enamored by his powerful portrayal, making the poster a viral sensation.

With Jai Hanuman shaping up as a star-studded spectacle, fans are eager to see how Rishab Shetty will bring a new dimension to this iconic character.
