Ballari: Just a week after the wife of former minister Janardhana Reddy, Lakshmi Aruna entered active politics, Reddy’s daughter Brahmini announced her entry into the political arena on January 11, coinciding with her father’s birthday.
Speaking at a public meeting held on the grounds opposite Janardhana Reddy’s residence, Brahmini said her father was a dreamer. His dream is the welfare of the entire state. “I was concerned after he announced that he was alone in politics. That’s why I have come before you on my father’s birthday… You are not alone. I along with thousands of activists are with you, father,” she said.
Brahmini also raised slogans about Janardhana reddy’s win being paramount for the all-around development o Ballari. Further, she announced that she will be traveling across the district to campaign for her father in the next Karnataka Assembly elections.
