Bengaluru: The 61st Sessions court, on Wednesday, November 7 granted conditional anticipatory bail to Ali Khan, personal assistant of Janardhan Reddy with regard to a deal with Ambident Company.
The court granted bail to Ali on the condition of producing a bond worth Rs 50,000 and surety of one person.
The Central Crime Branch (CCB) had formed a team on Tuesday, November 6 to arrest former minister Janardhan Reddy and his personal assistant Ali Khan in relation with the illegal exchange of demonetized currency notes.
Meanwhile, the CCB team is in search of Janardhan Reddy, who has reportedly gone missing.
A team of CCB police personnel led by DCP Girish left to Hyderabad after learning that Reddy is hiding there, informed sources.
