Jarkiholi CD case: 5 suspects detained by SIT

Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted to probe the making of the CD allegedly showing Ramesh Jarkiholi and a woman being intimate has made its first arrests.

Five suspects, all of them alleged to be journalists, have been detained by the team headed by IPS officer Soumendu Mukherjee.

It was reported that the prime suspect has escaped to Andhra Pradesh.

The video was reportedly uploaded from Bengaluru but from a hacked server in Russia.

The 5 detained suspects are alleged to have ‘written the script and edited the video’ before handing a CD of it to Dinesh Kallahalli.
