JD(S) agrees to Congress offer

Bengaluru: Leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the BJP does not win the Karnataka Assembly Elections, the Congress had proposed to form a coalition government with the JD(S). The party said that if the two parties collaborate and form the government, JD(S) Chief Ministerial candidate H.D. Kumaraswamy will be made the Chief Minister.

Now a fresh update has been made on the matter that JD(S) has apparently agreed to the proposal. Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad told presspersons that the JD(S) has accepted the offer of the Congress to form a coalition government. If the two parties combine, they will definitely trump the number of seats won by the BJP in the State, emerging as a clear majority.
