Hassan: Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda said that JD(S) allied with BJP to end Congress rule in the state.

Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda vowed that JD(S) candidates will win all the 3 constituencies and end the Congress. “We are contesting in only 3 constituencies in the state. We will win all 3 and finish Congress. Deve Gowda, who held power as the Prime Minister of this nation, is still here,” he said.

Addressing a rally near the Hemavati statue, Deve Gowda rebutted CM Siddaramaiah and DCM Shivakumar’s claims that JD(S) was virtually destroyed.  “We will show the strength of our party,” Deve Gowda added.

“Our alliance (BJP-JDS alliance) is not limited to this election only. It will continue. It will defeat the Congress in every election,” he said.
