Bengaluru: Taking a jibe at former coalition partner, Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Sunday said that the JDS can never come to power on its own.

“JDS is not a political party in my opinion. It can come to power only by joining hand with others,” Siddaramaiah said at KPCC office here.

Further, he said that Kumaraswamy would not play with peoples’ emotions by shedding crocodile tears. “This drama was being enacted by HD Devegowda since long. Kumaraswamy is continuing the same,” said the former chief minister.

On the issue of the bypolls, the former chief minister said that it was a direct fight between the ruling BJP and the Congress.
