Bengaluru: In a rather surprising move, ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, Danish Ali, General Secretary of Janata Dal-Secular (JDS) joined Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Saturday.

Senior BSP leader Sathish Chandra Mishra welcomed Danish Ali into party fold. Ali is likely to contest the Lok Sabha in Uttar Pradesh on a BSP ticket.

Speaking to reporters, after joining BSP Ali said that he has joined the BSP with due permission and blessings of JDS Supremo HD Deve Gowda.

“Just like Deve Gowda decided what work to me, I will work whereever Behenji assigns me,” he said.
