JD(S) likely to release second list in a week

Bengaluru: The second list of 40 candidates contesting for the upcoming Assembly polls from JD(S) will be soon released in a week’s time said the JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy on Wednesday.
Informing the reporters Kumaraswamy stated that JD(S) will be announcing its candidates long time prior to the upcoming elections, unlike last time. He said this will help the candidates who are competing to prepare well for the elections.
He also added that from his family only himself and HD Revanna will be competing in the polls. He also ensured that there is no confusion over the distribution of tickets to the party.
Recently, in the presence of HD Kumaraswamy, film director Mahender joined the JD(S).
In response to a question on JD(S) facing revolts in few constituencies Kumaraswamy said that these are minor issues which can be resolved. The party has selected the candidates after taking everybody into confidence.
