Kochi/Bengaluru: JD(S) National Secretary General Kunwar Danish Ali confirmed the report that the party had sent its MLAs in Karnataka to Kochi on Thursday night. The 37 MLA elects of the party were sent by road to Kochi, where they will stay in three hotels.

JD(S) chief H.D. Kumaraswamy is also part of the group that is in Kochi, and they will be staying there until Yeddyurappa’s floor test in the Assembly.

Ali also added that Kerala was the natural choice of stay as the party was a member of the coalition government there. He stated that the party was waiting for the final Supreme Court order on the issue, which will be delivered on Friday.
