In a shocking incident, a Janata Dal-United MLA Gopal Mandal was seen roaming in his undergarments while travelling from Patna to New Delhi on the Tejas Rajdhani Express on Thursday.

As per reports, Mandal’s co-passengers objected to his behaviour, he allegedly abused them stating, ” You don’t know who I am. I can do anything within a minute”.

The JDU leader from Bihar also threatened to shoot them. Subsequently, the passengers raised a complaint with the RPF officials.

CPRO East Central Railway said RPF and TTE persuaded both parties and pacified the matter.

Clarifying on the issue, Mandal said that he was only wearing the undergarments during the journey as he his stomach was upset.

Meanwhile photos of the MLA roaming the train coach in a white vest have been widely shared.
