Jet Airways Lauches New Services between Bengaluru-Amsterdam and Chennai-Paris

Bengaluru: Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline has announced the launch of two new flights directly connecting Chennai with Paris and Bengaluru with Amsterdam. The launch of these new routes will enable guests to travel to destinations in Europe and North America with its codeshare partners Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

Commencing October 29, 2017, Jet Airways 9W 236 will depart from Bengaluru at 02.25 hours (LT) and arrive at Amsterdam at 08.35 hours (LT). On the return leg, Jet Airways 9W 235 will depart from Amsterdam at 10.50 hours (LT) and arrive at Bengaluru at 00.40 hours (LT). These flights will be operated in conjunction with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Delta Air Lines, with each airline placing their respective codes on the service.

On the same day, Jet Airways 9W 128 will depart from Chennai at 01.45 hours (LT) and will arrive into Paris at 08.10 hours (LT). Departing from Paris at 10.10 hours (LT), Jet Airways 9W 127 will return to Chennai at 00.15 hours (LT). Both Air France and Delta Air Lines will be codeshare partners on these flights.

Jet Airways will operate a daily service between Bengaluru-Amsterdam, while the flight between Chennai-Paris will be operated five days a week. These new flights will complement the airline’s existing direct operations from Delhi & Mumbai to Amsterdam and onwards to Toronto as well as direct flights from Mumbai to Paris.

The addition of the Bengaluru and Chennai flights will make Jet Airways the only airline to offer direct nonstop services between these cities and will offer its guests the unique option of travel to Europe and North America through 3 (three) European gateways enabling business and leisure travelers to travel through one gateway and return via another.

Jet Airways has focused on improving connectivity from Southern India to destinations across its domestic and international network and with burgeoning demand for travel to Europe and North America, the airline has introduced these two new international flights in order to cater to the vital and growing markets of South India.

Through its European gateways of Amsterdam and Paris, Jet Airways will offer guests in Chennai and Bengaluru seamless one-stop connectivity to 35 destinations across Europe and 24 destinations in the United States, Canada and Mexico with our codeshare partners Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and Delta Air Lines.

Currently, Jet Airways connects to major European cities via Amsterdam and Paris including key destinations such as Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, Geneva, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Helsinki, Madrid, Manchester, Oslo, Prague, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Vienna, Munich, Venice, London, Dublin and Zurich.  

Similarly, guests can travel to major destinations across North America over Amsterdam and Paris, such as: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York-JFK, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Newark, Portland, Raleigh-Durham, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Vancouver, and Mexico City. Meanwhile, guests travelling via Chennai and Bengaluru can seamlessly connect to 13 domestic destinations on Jet Airways’ network as well as internationally to Colombo in Sri Lanka.
