Jeweller commits suicide by jumping into a river

Kundapur: A jeweler based in the town committed suicide by jumping into Panchagangavali River on Monday September 26th. Financial loss that he was facing forced him to take this extreme step.
The deceased has been identified as Srinivas Shet (57). He owned Vijaya Jewellers in Kundapur. He was apparently suffering from depression due to financial losses and killed himself by jumping off the Anagalli Bridge into the Panchagangavali River in Kundapur.
Kundapur police have registered a case in this regard.
