Jio 5G internet service launched in Mangaluru, few other cities in K’taka

Mangaluru: Private telecom company Reliance Jio launched 5G internet service in Hubli-Dharwad, Mangalore, Belgaum, and a few other cities in the nation on Tuesday, January 10.

Reliance Jio became the telecom company to launch 5G internet service in Hubli-Dharwad, Mangalore, and Belgaum.

Well, 5G is available in many cities already and people who have activated 5G on their phones are not only complaining of data getting over quickly but also facing call drop issues.

Jio hasn’t launched specific 5G plans yet but allows users on Rs 239 or above plans to use 5G on their 5 G-enabled phone.

It may be recalled that when 55 services was launched in India, Jio had said that it will reach all parts of the country by the end of 2023.
