Job Fair for Persons with Disabilities

Bengaluru: Samarthanam Trust has been working to empower the visually impaired, disabled and underprivileged people in India. Samarthanam believes in building an inclusive society free from discrimination, to reap the benefits of Persons with disabilities become contributing members living with dignity and respect.

Samarthanam Trust is organizing a Job Fair for differently abled candidates on 29th April 2022 From: 9.00 am to 2.00 pm at Manpho Bell Hotel & Convention Center, Bengaluru

In the present situation ‘Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) in India, based on the findings of recent surveys have lost their jobs post Covid and their mere survival is posing a challenge. The objective of this fair is to increase employment opportunities for several differently abled job seekers and offer a wider choice for selection to the recruiters.

Around 500 plus skilled job seekers in the age group of 18- 35 years from multiple verticals of education are expected to participate in the Job Fair, with the qualification of SSLC, PUC, ITI, diploma or degree holders, who can make use of the opportunities. More than 25 plus companies will be participating in this job Fair. Differently abled candidates, who wish to start their own business, will also get guidance on various government schemes besides getting mentorship to begin their startups.
