Job fraud: Sri Rama Sene member Prasad Attavar arrested

Mangaluru: Police officials have arrested Sri Rama Sene member Prasad Attavar on charges of job fraud on Monday, March 29

It is said that Prasad Attavar befriended a professor of Mangaluru University and promised him a job at Raichur University.

Prasad allegedly said that he will be made the Chancellor of Raichur University and demanded Rs 30 lakhs from him.

Later, he forcefully made the professor pay Rs. 17.5 lakhs in cash and received blank cheques for the remaining amount.  When the professor asked for his money, Prasad threatened to kill him.

A case has been registered at Kankanady Police station
