Jodupala: Houses to be handed over to the homeless soon

Aranthodu: The construction of 80 houses for the homeless at Golikatte in Madenadu village has been completed and will be handed over to the eligible beneficiaries soon, informed Kodagu district administration.
Currently houses are being constructed for the homeless at 5 locations considered habitable in Kodagu. Now the list demanding houses will be inspected with the demand from the individual areas. Besides, action will be taken to provide basic facilities like water, road, electricity and transportation.
It is learnt that before the arrival of monsoon, the houses will be handed over to those in the first list and later the houses will be handed over to those in the second list.
“The construction of 80 houses for the homeless has been completed at Golikatte in Madenadu village. The homeless have written and given information regarding where they want their houses. Post the inspection, the houses will be handed over to the eligible soon,” informed Javare Gowda, Assistant Commissioner
