Jayaprakash Hegde, the Congress candidate for the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha Constituency, pledged a significant focus on fisheries development and tourism enhancement during a campaign meeting held near the Sea Walk in Malpe on Tuesday.

Assuring the audience of his commitment to addressing the concerns of fishermen and farmers in the region, Hegde emphasized the importance of projects aimed at improving their livelihoods. He highlighted the potential for employment generation through the development of tourism along the beachfront.
