Jt K’taka legislative session begins from Jan 28

Bengaluru: A seven-day joint session of the Karnataka legislature will be held from tomorrow till February 5.

Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri said that eleven bills will be presented in the session.

The governor will address the joint session at 11 am on the first day of the session (Thursday), followed by the statement of condolence to the deceased members of the legislative bodies.

The government has currently issued three notifications for the bills to be presented in the session. Question hour has also been arranged for six days of the session.

All legislators will have to enter the session wearing a mask and distances have to be maintained.

After each day’s session, the entire building will be sanitised.
