Another pan-India Kannada hit is in the offing! The teaser trailer of ‘Kabzaa’, starring Upendra and Kiccha Sudeep, has become an instant hit on YouTube.
Director R. Chandru has seemingly created a cruel world of ‘Kabzaa’ by putting together the essential elements for a gangster drama. The teaser, with its fast-cutting scenes, gives a peek into the gunslinging, bloody chapter.
Kabzaa is set in pre-independence India and follows the rise of an Indian gangster. The teaser begins with a look at 1942 India.
The opening sequence shows a child growing up in a setting dominated by the independence movement. We also get a sneak preview of the atrocities committed against Indians.
The teaser then cuts to shots of Upendra decimating villains and taking the law into his own hands. He also encounters the character of Kiccha Sudeep.
The styling, hues, and aesthetics give off a strong KGF-esque feel.
However, the teaser does a great job at piquing the interest of the audience. It has garnered more than 15 million views in a matter of days since its release.
