Kadaba: 1 dead, 4 seriously injured in SUV-car collision

Kadaba: A frontal collision between a Mahindra Bolero and a Maruti Suzuki Ritz was reported from Padavu on the Uppinangadi-Subramanya State highway.

One passenger died on the spot while four others have been seriously wounded.

The Ritz was heading towards Hosmatha when it collided with the Bolero at a turn in the road.

The deceased have been identified as Naveen Martis (30), a resident of Hallangeri in Hosmatha.

The deceased’s father Nicholas Martis, mother Cecilia Lasrado, sister Sushma Martis and his wife were seriously injured and taken to a hospital at Puttur.
