Kadaba: Disabled man killed after being hit by car

Kadaba: A differently-abled man crossing the road was killed after being hit by a car on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Dharnappa, a resident of Kadaba Angadi Mane area.

The victim, who was unable to walk due to the disability, was attempting to cross the road on Friday evening when a car traveling from Mangaluru towards Subrahmanya hit him. He was seriously injured due to the impact and was rushed to the hospital. However, he could not be saved.

As per the statement provided by the deceased’s brother, the case has been registered against the driver at the Kadaba police station.
