Kadaba: Harish Bhat to serve as India’s Cultural Ambassador

Kadaba: Harish Bhat from Nava Kevala in Kunthoor Village here has been nominated as India’s Cultural Ambassador by the Indian government.
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) under the Ministry of External Affairs has chosen Harish Bhat to showcase Yoga to the world at the various international events planned by it. As per the website of the Council, it showcases quality performances by Indian cultural troupes in countries across the world so that the people get to see and understand the diversity and the energy of India’s performing arts.
Harish Bhat, who is the son of late Govind Bhat and Krishna Kumari, has been a Yoga trainer for the past 12 years. He has held training camps in international events, including Dubai and Maldives. Currently, he is training Yoga enthusiasts across the rural parts of Dakshina Kannada.
After completing a training camp in March this year in Bengaluru, Harish will be participating in ICCR cultural events in international destinations for the next 3 years.
