Kadaba: Man killed in scooty-Scorpio collision

Kadaba: A Scorpio car hit a scooty here in a road accident resulting in the death of a local timber merchant on Monday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Ummer (50), a resident of Kalara of Kadaba Town Panchayat.

The mishap occurred on the Uppinangadi-Kadaba Subrhmanya State Highway. Ummer who was riding the scooty, was taking a turn to reach his home when a Scorpio knocked him from behind. Ummer reportedly died on the spot from grievous head injuries.

The accident occurred right in front of his house as his family was watching. His son rushed him to the hospital on an autorickshaw but he was declared brought dead by doctors.
