Kadaba: President’s Police Medal for Lokayukta DySP Pramod Kumar

Kadaba: Pramod Kumar who is serving as Lokayukta DySP in Bengaluru, has been selected for the President’s Police Medal medal for Meritorious Service for the year 2023.

A native of Kodimbala village Bedraje, Pramod is the son of Raviraja Ariga and Bhagyavathy couple. He did his primary and secondary education in Kadaba, and thereafter completed his graduation From SDM College Ujire.

Pramod Kumar joined the police department in 2001 and was promoted to the post of circle inspector in 2008. He was promoted to the rank of DySP in 2021 and served in ACB. he is currently serving as DySP at Bengaluru City Lokayukta.

In 2016, Pramod Kumar was awarded the Chief Minister’s Gold Medal.

Pramod has served as PSI in Nanjangudu, Arakalagodu, Madikeri, and as Circle Inspector in Chikkaballapur, Nanjangudu, Bengaluru City, Gundlupet, and Ankola.

The date, venue, etc. of the award ceremony is yet to be decided.
