Kahani mai twist: Guest marries the bride after groom runs away

Chikkamagaluru: A bride was made to marry one of the guests after the groom ran away with his girlfriend.
The incident took place in avillage of Tarikere taluk in the district.
Reportedly, two brothers, Ashok and Naveen, were slated to get married at the same venue. But on the wedding day, Naveen sneaked out from his own marriage after his girlfriend threatened him with consuming poison in front of the guests and ruin the wedding.
Heartbroken and inconsolable, Sindhu’s family resolved to find her a groom right there and were able to find a suitable match within the guest list itself.
A guest named Chandrappa, who works as a BMC conductor, volunteered to marry her if both the families agreed to their union.
The day ended with Sindhu marrying Chandrappa, and Naveen’s brother Ashok tying the knot with his original bride.
It gathered that Naveen and his bride had enjoyed all the prewedding rituals on the previous day. He was even present at the wedding venue till the morning of the wedding but disappeared from the place later. The groom’s family and friends also fled along with the groom.
