Kaikamba: Man suddenly collapses, dies

Kaikamba: In a tragic incident on Saturday, Ashok (33), who worked at a fast food centre in Kuppepadav, collapsed and died after suffering a heart attack.

Ashok, a resident of Karaya Maripadi in Puttur Taluk, was employed at a fast food outlet run by his relative, Girish, in Kuppepadav. He allegedly continued working as usual despite experiencing chest pain in the morning,

However, he suddenly collapsed while at work in the afternoon. He was immediately rushed to a local private hospital. Following the doctors’ advice, he was transferred to another private hospital in Moodbidri. However, Ashok breathed his last on the way.

He is survived by his wife and a one-year-old child. A case of unnatural death has been registered at the Bajpe police station.
