Kalaburagi: 4 dead in tanker truck-car collision

Kalaburagi: Four people were killed on the spot in a fatal collision between a tanker truck and a car near Kothaur in the taluk here.

The collision occurred at 1 am on Tuesday.

Three of the deceased have been identified as Rahul (25), Qasim (26) and Ullas (26). While the identity of the fourth dead is being determined.

All the dead are residents of Kalaburagi.

One other person was seriously injured in the collision and has been admitted to a private hospital.

The car was going to Kalaburagi via Jevargi and the tanker was going to Jevargi when the collision occurred.

A case has been registered at the Kalaburagi town traffic police station.
