Night flight services at Kalaburagi Airport are finally becoming a reality. Starting on February 22, Alliance Airlines will begin the night flight connecting Kalaburagi with Bengaluru on a trial basis.

The flight from Bengaluru is set to depart at 6:45 PM and touch down in Kalaburagi at 8:00 PM. Subsequently, the return journey will see the flight leaving Kalaburagi at 8:45 PM and reaching Bengaluru at 10:00 PM.

Alliance Airlines intends to operate a weekly night flight every Thursday initially, with plans to expand to daily services soon.

The initiation of night flights is seen as a significant milestone for Kalaburagi, opening up possibilities for connectivity to various parts of the country. The commencement of flight operations from Kalaburagi Airport began on November 23, 2019, with the airport boasting the second-longest runway in the state.

Dr. Umesh Jadhav, the Member of Parliament for Kalaburagi, has expressed his happiness at the realization of this long-awaited development, attributing it to persistent efforts.
