Kalaburagi: Man rescued after being washed away

Kalaburagi: A bike-borne utensils seller who was washed away while crossing a gushing river was later managed to be saved by locals here.
The incident took place near the village of Hadagali at Aland taluka in the district. The man with his bike was crossing a small bridge overflowing due to heavy rains.
As he was crossing the bridge, he was washed away along with his bike and utensils by the water. People nearby immediately rushed to him and rescued him.
The bridge connects the villages of Yalasangi and Hadagali.
