Kalaburagi: Rowdies attack police ASI, his family

Kalaburagi: An incident of an assault on an ASI of the district reserve police has been reported from here.

A group arrived at the residence of ASI Khaja Patel at Misbah Nagar here and attacked him, his wife and their children severely injuring all of them.

Khaja Patel had built his house recently and had left a three feet space to build a compound wall. However, Ruksana Begum, their neighbour planned to build drains there. Khaja had questioned Ruksana Begum for this who allegedly sent the rowdies to attack Khaza Patel.

All the rowdies had covered their heads with clothes.

A case has been registered at the town’s Rural Police Station regarding the incident.
