Kalaburgi: 224 kg marijuana worth Rs 10.5 lakhs confiscated at Chincholi

Chincholi (Kalburgi): The local police here continuing its anti-marijuana drive has seized in a raid another 224kilograms worth Rs 10.5 lakhs.

After learning that Dhansingh Ramachandra Rathod, a resident of Sajjankolla within Basantpur gram panchayat here had been growing marijuana in his yard, DySP ES Veerabhadraiah, PI Mahantesh Patil, SI Rajasekhar Rathod raided and seized marijuana plants from the yard.

Till date, the local police has seized 411 kilograms of marijuana in the taluk.
