Kalladka stabbing incident accused nabbed

Bantwal: An accused in the stabbing incident that took place in Kalladka eight months ago has been nabbed by the Bantwal police on Saturday September 1st. The arrested has been identified as Farooq alias Chenna Farooq.

Farooq had stabbed Keshava, the accused in Jaleel Karopadi murder case, at Kalladka eight months ago and was absconding.

The accused was arrested from the house of Taufiq at Kalladka by the police team led by Bantwal police circle inspector T D Nagaraj, Bantwal town police station sub-inspector Chandrashekar, crime division sub-inspector Harish and rural police station sub-inspector Prasanna.

Taufiq also has been arrested for giving shelter to Farooq and has been subjected to interrogation. Farooq also has a case registered against him in the past for disturbing communal peace in Kalladka.
