Kalyanpura:  Missing youth found dead

Udupi: Bannanje resident Deekshith Shetty (26), who went missing after parking his scooter at a bridge near Kalyanpura Santhekatte on Sunday was found dead beneath the bridge across Swarna river on Monday.

The deceased was working at a petrol bunk in Udupi and after his work on Sunday night, he parked his scooter near Santhekatte bridge at around 10:30 pm and went missing.

On Monday morning, his scooter was found near the bridge along with his mobile. A search was launched since Monday morning and the corpse was finally found at 5:30 pm in the evening, which was later shifted to Ajjarakad district hospital for autopsy.
