Mangaluru: A Bengaluru-based travel agency is offering an exclusive ‘Kambala Holiday Package’ to Bengalureans.
Kambala is the traditional sport of Tulunadu sport. The 2-day Kambala Holiday Package, conceptualized by Ravi M, the managing director of Arjun Tours Private Limited will consist of 10 persons.
The group will attend Rama-Lakshmana Jodukere Kambala held at Goldfinch City on March 6.
Ravi, who was fascinated by the folk sport came up with the idea after a friend of his posted mesmerizing pictures of the traditional sport.
At that point, Ravi wondered why not promote Kambala to those outside coastal Karnataka.
Following which he spoke to Kambala organizer Captain Brijesh Chowta and came up with this two-day Kambala package targeting Bengalureans.
Ravi informed that many people registered initially but canceled later due to the sudden spike in COVID-19 cases in Mangaluru.
