Kambala: Tentative roster for 2021-22 season released

Mangaluru: In a news that’s sure to delight the Kambala fans, the tentative schedule for the upcoming season has been released.
Udupi and Dakshina Kannada District Kambala Committee has prepared the tentative schedule for the sport for the upcoming season. The final schedule will be released during the next meeting at Moodabidri on October 30.
As per the schedule, the competitions will begin from November end of this year and will last till March 2022.
According to the probable list, the inaugural Kambala race of the season will be held on November 27 at Moodabidri.
Three competitions will be held on December 11, 18, and 26 at Hokkadi, Mangaluru, and Mulki respectively.
The competitions for 2022 will be held as follows:
January 1 at Kakkepadavu, January 8 at Adve Nandikoor, January 16 at Miyar, January 22 at Puttur, January 29 at Aikala, February 5 at Baradi, February 12 at Jappu, February 19 at Vamanjoor, February 26 at Paivalike, March 5 at Katapadi, March 12 at Uppinangady, March 19 at Bangadi, March 26 at Venur.
