The Karnataka Road Development Corporation Limited (KRDCL) has recently made a significant move by awarding a three-year tender to Ravi Mokshit Company, a firm headquartered in Hassan – Bangalore. The contract pertains to the construction of a toll center at Kanchinadka, located near Padubidri on State Highway 1 in Karkala.

In the upcoming months, Ravi Mokshit Company is expected to commence tollgate operations following the successful completion of the designated project.

Reports indicate that similar to the existing Hejamadi toll system, provisions will be made to ensure the unhindered movement of vehicles from Padubidri.
