Kankanady: Two held for running prostitution racket from spa & saloon

Mangaluru: Personnel of Kadri police station led by police inspector Shantaram busted a prostitution racket that was going on in a spa and saloon located in a commercial complex in Kankanady on Thursday, October 31.
The police rescued five women victims and arrested two persons – Walid Khan (34), a Mangaladevi resident and Istikar (38), resident of Uttar Pradesh during the raid.
The arrested persons were involved as pimps in the flesh trade. It is gathered that a woman associate involved in the racket is absconding.
