Kannada actor Chetan Chandra reportedly faced a brutal attack by a group of about 20 people on Sunday night in Kaggalipura, just outside Bengaluru.
Chetan Chandra explained in an Instagram post that the attack happened while he was coming back after taking his mother to a temple on Mother’s Day.
According to the actor, his car was damaged by the group.
Chetan mentioned that it started with one person, possibly drunk, following his car and then damaging it. “I thought the man was trying to rob me, so I confronted him about damaging my car. Suddenly, around 20 people, including a woman, gathered and started attacking me,” explained Chetan Chandra.
After the attack, Chetan went to the police and received first aid at a nearby hospital. He also went live on Instagram from the hospital, showing his injuries and sharing what happened.
Chetan mentioned that his nose was broken, and his car was further damaged by the same group. He described the incident as a “terrible experience with bad people.”
