Kannada Poet KS Nissar Ahmed to Inaugurate Mysuru Dasara 2017

Mysuru: Renowned Kannada poet Dr KS Nissar Ahmed will inaugurate Dasara Festival 2017 in cultural capital of Karnataka, Mysuru. Mysuru Dasara festival is scheduled to be held from September 21 to 30 this year and the poet will be invited officially during the second week of September to inaugurate the event, said Mysuru District Incharge Minister HC Mahadevappa speaking to media persons here on Thursday.

The minister arrived here in Mysuru palace to welcome a group of elephants which are scheduled to take part in the Dasara festival.  Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has already spoken with the poet inviting him to inaugurate the colorful event scheduled, minister said answering to a question.
