Kannada TV actor Rekha Sindhu dies in car accident

Bengaluru: Noted for her work in Tamil and Kannada TV shows, actor Rekha Sindhu lost her life in an accident reported on the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway on Friday.

Sources say that the accident took place in Sunnampukuttai, near Pernambut. It is said that the car Rekha, Abhishek Kumaran (22), Jayachandran (23) and Rakshan (20) were travelling by, hit the median at a high speed and toppled, killing all the occupants on the spot.

The four were rushed to Thirupatthur Government Hospital where they were declared brought dead.

A case has been registered and investigations are on.
