‘Kantara’ Hindi version: Box office collection doubles on day 2

The Hindi version of Kannada movie Kantara is gaining ground after a moderate start on Day 1. The Rishab Shetty-starrer movie doubled its earnings on Day two of its release in Hindi version.
The movie earned Rs 1.27 Crore on Friday. But, business jumped to Rs 2.75 crores, a surprise jump of 116.54 percent.
In a Twitter post business analyst Taran Adarsh wrote: “#Kantara *#Hindi version* springs a big surprise, as biz jumps on Day 2 [+ 116.54%]… Although the 2-day total may seem low, the solid growth and trending are clear indicators that it will score on Day 3… Fri 1.27 cr, Sat 2.75 cr. Total: ₹ 4.02 cr. #India biz. Nett BOC.”

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara is garnering an exceptional response from audiences across the globe. Several celebrities have heaped praises on Shetty’s performance.
‘Kantara’ has surpassed KGF on IMDb ratings and has got a rating of 9.5 out of 10.
The film has some rave reviews on IMDb, the largest, most comprehensive movie database on the web. “Epitome of acting! Chilling experience!” one user wrote. “Went in for the hype, came out with GOOSEBUMPS,” wrote another. “I am left speechless after watching epic cinematography and storytelling backed by wonderful performances & background score.”
